Bullets cut short steamy love session

Police are looking for a Slovakian national who escaped after he was accosted having sex with a commercial sex worker inside Nyali Barracks in Mombasa.

The man was allegedly sighted by the military officers in the barracks at around 3am.

The couple had hired a taxi and driven into the barracks where they started having sex in the open, according to Kisauni OCPD Julius Wanjohi.

“As they were in the process of making love, the officers saw the vehicle parked in the compound and shot severally at the couple because they were alarmed to find a strange vehicle in their compound,” said Wanjohi. The woman sustained bullet wounds in the buttocks during the incident. She is nursing her injuries at Coast Provincial General Hospital.

“The man managed to escape though we don’t know if he sustained injuries or not. The taxi unfortunately rammed onto a wall and got damaged,” he added.

Wanjohi said police recovered some documents belonging to the tourist and that they were pursuing him so that he can explain why he was in barracks.

“He has to record a statement with us so that he could tell us the reason being at the barracks late that night,” he said.
