Kenyan women stuck in a container in Saudi Arabia

Countries like India, Philippines and Sri Lanka have banned recruitment of workers to work in Saudi Arabia over similar complaints, leaving Kenya as the most attractive source of labour.

Majority of the Kenyan workers are promised white-collar jobs but upon arrival, their travel and identification documents are confiscated.

They are then made to work in inhumane conditions that include hard labour for long hours as well as bizarre jobs like washing snakes.
