Job of liberating Somali societies should not be left to Kenyans only

Not so many Kenyans understand the intricacies in Somali society, nor do they appreciate that social systems and cultures in northern Kenya and across into Somalia are very different and have dynamics of their own. When our brothers and sisters from this area speak of the importance of the clan, I go back to Evans Pritchard the anthropologist and get lost somewhere. My brain has long stopped to situate lineages into politics and clans into the daily lives of individuals.
