The Kakamega County Assembly has been invited for a bench-marking session in Uganda. Addressing the assembly Wednesday, the chairman of the Uganda District Council Speakers Association, Andrew Odongo, noted that Kenya and Uganda had a lot to learn from each other socially, economically and culturally.
“I have officially come to welcome you to Uganda and will do everything within our means to ensure the visit to Uganda will be successful,” he said.
Odongo said the visit would empower the MCAs with skills for better delivery of their legislative roles besides building brotherhood.
