Kiyiapi hands over office

Former education permanent secretary James Ole Kiyiapi handed over office to professor George Godia who takes over as acting education permanent secretary. This follows Kiyaipi’s resignation to delve into active politics and contest the  presidency…kiyiapi will vie on restore and build Kenya party which is among six political parties that are fully registered…he launches the party on Sunday at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC)…the party’s slogan is kenya yetu, wajibu wetu…his resignation is in line with the political parties act 2011 that requires any public officer to relinquish office seven months before elections if they intend to contest in the polls…Kiyiapi challenged the incoming permanent secretary to be vigilant and carry on with education reforms
