An audit into the events that led to the suspension of the entire board of the East African Portland Cement Company (EAPCC) has recommended disciplinary action against the EAPCC board for losses amounting to Sh30 million in irregular purchases. The report by the efficiency monitoring unit has also called for the disbandment of the company's procurement and oversight committee and the appointment of a taskforce to carry out further investigations.
