PNU rebranding

There will be no PNU candidate in the coming general election if a proposal to change the name of the party that propelled president Kibaki to his second term is adopted. Alliance Party of Kenya (APK) will be the new name that PNU will adopt with a bus as its symbol. Announcing the proposed change of name, the party's secretary general Kiraitu Murungi says the alliance has the vice presidents wiper democratic movement and Uhuru Kenyatta's kanu's support.
