APRA conference

The all African Public Relations Association conference opened in mombasa today where practitioners were challenged to embrace new technology, innovations and change. Minister for information and communication samuel poghisio noted that new technology and need for accountability increased the role of public relations managers and they should rise up to the challenge. The conference brings together over 200 public relations practitioners from 15 countries in africa. Apra president kate bapela said that it was the duty of pr practitioners to develop ways to eradicate poverty in the continent.
