48 admitted following gas leakage

Barely two weeks after the industrial accident at mukuru sinai, medical and rescue teams were yet again jolted into high gear after a toxic gas leak in nairobi's shauri moyo area. 48 people were rushed to the kenyatta national hospital after inhaling a poisonous gas released at a scrap metal yard. Nine of the victims are in critical condition. Hundreds of residents, including 300 schoolchildren, had to be evacuated following the accident. Ktn's wilkister nyabwa has this report.
