Construction of Thika road is half-way and should be complete by this time next year. This was the message today from the Chinese firm contracted to build the eight-lane superhighway. Motorists plying the Thika-Nairobi highway have endured construction work since January last year but can look forward to the road’s completion next July. The contractors say although the initial phases were on course, the demolition and relocation of utilities could result in delays.
