Nairobi; Kenya. Ministry of Information and Communication (Moic) Netball team will be traveling Accra, Ghana, for Africa Netball Senior Club Championship after clinching the National Netball league title.

Since its inception last year, the team has dominated in netball tournaments besides taking part in the East and Central Club Championship last year where they finished  third.

According to Moic head coach who is also the national women’s team head coach Millicent Busolo, the girls are improving by the day as they gear up for the continental championships.

“The team has been training and we will intensify training from Tuesday, after which  we will concentrate on final touches before we leave for Ghana,” Busolo told FeverPitch, yesterday.

The team is expected to perform well in Ghana with the services of experienced centre, Joan Makingi who has played for the national team for the last 10 years, Brigitte Nanjala, a striker who is expected to partner with Linah Tarus, an attacker who also plays in the national team.

Paril Simiyu, a defender who is also the national team captain, will be out to ensure that no scores are conceded.
