Duale loses sister to cancer

Majority leader Aden Duale is mourning the loss of his sister Arfon Bare.

The legislator took to Twitter to express his sadness and revealed that the deceased had battled cancer for a long time.

“Innalilahi wainaillahim raajun, may Allah have mercy on the soul of my sister Arfon Bare Duale after along illness (battling cancer).

“O Allah, surely Arfon Bare Duale is under Your protection, & in the rope of Your security, so save her from the trial of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire.

“You fulfil promises & grant rights, so forgive her & have mercy on her. Surely You are Most Forgiving & Merciful,” he wrote.

Netizens also sent their condolences to Duale and his family during this difficult period, asking God to grant them strength as they come to terms with her demise.
