Twitter stirs after Mutahi Ngunyi compares Uhuru and Raila to Robert Mugabe

Kenyans on Twitter had a field day after controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi claimed that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga’s dramas will not make him the President.

Mutahi tweeted this in the wake of political tension as Raila is expected back into the country. Raila, who had gone to the United States and London to push for electoral reforms is expected back today on November 17.

Raila sought to have reforms in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision after President Uhuru Kenyatta was pronounced winner twice this year. Raila had withdrawn from the race days to the October 26 repeat poll.

The tweet draws attention to the fact that Raila Odinga has been in politics for almost 30 years when he unsuccessfully vied for the presidency five times. President Uhuru, on the other hand, has beaten Raila twice in his 20 years of active politics.

I never believed a brilliant mind like yours could be bought, talk about values. You have become a Jubilee mouthpiece... So sad.

This question is stupidly framed. The answer is the want who wants to stick to power by rigging like Mugabe, so Uhuru it is!

It’s true, when you spoil for a fight you don’t expose your weapons to the enemy. It’s coward who does that.— Ayub Alolo (@ayubalolo) November 16, 2017

Others chose to attack Mutahi on bringing on the subject.

Nice talk.. Let's wait till the movie ends, then you will want where to hide yourself.
