The grounds for a successful relationship

There are many gender-based myths and presumptions that prevent relationships to thrive.

A young man who gets himself to a relationship with so many expectations of how the lady should act and treat them is likely to fail in a relationship as well as marriage.

The same case applies to a lady who enters the relationship with the myths of how their partners should act with them.

The bottom line is that a relationship is made up of two imperfect people who come together independently and decide to be partners.

The partners have to learn everything by themselves and know that at some point, each is likely to compromise for the benefit of the other.

Every person's experience in a relationship is unique, and hence you do not dwell on other people's experiences to build a relationship. People, and especially men, talk too much in multitudes about how a "woman cannot do this and that to me."

Only a fool will run to build a relationship based on that statement. In this case, follow that man, and you will be perplexed to see how that man treats the lady in his life.

The grounds for a successful relationship, therefore, are set by two people who are ready to understand each other's feelings and respect them.

Let us not lie to each other. Every relationship is unique, and the success of each depends on the readiness of two parties.
