Thika Superhighway lane to be closed until April

Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) on Friday, February 21, 2020, announced that a section of Thika Superhighway will be closed until Monday, April 13, 2020.

Through an advertisement posted on their social media platforms, KeNHA stated that the section of the Superhighway at the Kenya School of Monetary studies had already been closed.

The body added that the outer lanes of the highway shall be closed to allow the contractor to construct the median columns for the footbridge at the institution.


They further advised motorists to be cautious around the construction areas to avoid accidents.

“We request motorists to exercise caution around the work areas and to comply with the proposed traffic management plan as directed by traffic marshalls” read part of their public notice.

In the notice, KeNHA mentioned that;
