Gospel artiste Papa Dennis is dead

Gospel artiste Dennis Mwangi aka Papa Dennis is dead. Dennis was found dead on Friday, February 7, 2020, around Ngara in Nairobi. 

Popular comedian Terrence Creative was among the first people to break the news as he sought assistance from police to transport the body to a morgue. 

“Rest in Peace Papa Dennis. May God protect us, artists. It is so sad, yaani, something must be addressed,” he wrote.

Adding: “Tafadhali Pangani Police, tusaidieni hapa Fig tree, tumchukue ndugu yetu afikishwe kwenye hifandhi ya maiti.”

Gospel artiste Daddy Owen confirmed the news although he did not divulge details of what exactly happened.

“When I first heard about his passing I rushed to the scene just to confirm its true... reaching I found like only 4 people there and they pointed at a lifeless body which I had to confirm is Papa Dennis.

“It was a very sad scene. Rest in Peace Papa Dennis. I will share more soon,” he wrote.

Netizens were quick to send their condolences describing the deceased as a jovial soul.

The award-winning artiste was signed under the Maliza Umaskini label owned by business mogul Sadat Muhindi.
