Less than a week after intimating that he had a Tinder profile, Brad Pitt has destroyed all hopes of anyone finding him on there.
The 56-year-old Hollywood icon had raised hopes of the dating app's users after saying that he was one of them, but it seems that it was all just one big joke.
After winning the prize for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time In... Hollywood, Brad quipped: "I gotta add this to my Tinder profile."

This sparked a huge uptake of new Tinder users as the prospect of being Brad's next love after his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
Unfortunately, it will all be in vain as Brad doesn't know one end of his mobile from the other and has no intention of joining the online dating scene.
Brad was asked about his comment while at the 2020 Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Thursday, with an Extra reporter asking: "Did you know that Tinder subscriptions went up like crazy because of you?”
The actor, who is also nominated for an Oscar for his role in the Tarantino film, admitted: "I’m not on it.”
He went on to add: “I’m not even really sure how it all works. It just sounded funny to me.”
Brad has also admitted that he was "unaware" of the fuss surrounding his meeting with ex-Jennifer Aniston at the SAG awards.
He was photographed watching Jennifer, 50, accepting her award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for The Morning Show.
They were seen briefly holding hands backstage as they met at an awards ceremony for the first time since their divorce in 2005.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Brad was non-committal about the chance of romance blossoming again, saying that he is unaware of the attention.
Brad admitted: "I don’t know. I’m blissfully naive, and I’m gonna stay that way."
