Bahati responds after KOT criticized him for supporting King Kaka's controversial song

Gospel singer Bahati on Sunday, December 15, 2019, was forced to respond to attacks by netizens after his comment on King Kaka’s new song titled ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’.

Bahati who sparked rage from Kenyans on Twitter (KoT) received criticism from people reminding him of the role he played during the 2017 political campaigns.

The singer quickly cleansed himself from the mistakes of his past saying that he, like other Kenyans, fell victim to politicians’ lies.

“Vile Tuu Nyinyi Mlidanganywa Mka Amka 4 am Ku Vote Ata Mimi Iko Hivyo Hivyo Hivyo- Ata Yangu Ilikua Zaidi”

“The same lies that made you wake up at 4 am to vote also applied to me. In fact, it was worse for me” said Bahati.

He explained that he attended more than 555 campaign roadshows around the country and was almost left by his wife.

Bahati narrated that despite sitting on the President’s chair, his life remained the same and it was the support of is fans and Jesus Christ that keeps him going.

“Actually If Sio Nyinyi Ma Fans Kunishikilia na Nehema Ya Yesu Sahiii Sijui ingekuaje... And That's Why the Little I get Everyday I make Sure I Support Someone Coz WE ARE THE CHANGE WE NEED!!!”

“Actually if it was not for you (his fans) and the glory of Jesus, I don’t know where I’d be… “added Bahati.

He, however, advised his fans to choose their leaders based on their ideas and not tribal lines when given the opportunity.
