Half of employed Kenyans earn less than Sh30,000 a month

Despite the rising standards of living, the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) is set to announce that half of the people employed earn less than Sh30,000.

Statistics to be released in the course of this week indicate that the number of formally employed Kenyans who earn less than Sh30,000 rose by 154,945 people or 14 percent to 1,279,982.
