DCI lists 12 motor vehicles suspected to be stolen

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation(DCI) on Friday released a list of 12 vehicles suspected to be stolen or illegally registered in Ndaptabwa Kipsimo, Eldoret.

Through their twitter account, the office of the DCI said that detectives in the operation arrested one suspect, Gideon Kipkoech Kichwen, in connection to the vehicles.

The vehicles include;

1. KBD 365G Mercedes Benz saloon, Blue.

2. KCA 740J Toyota Hilux, Green.

3. KCB 499B Toyota Premio, White.

4. KBY 600V Subaru Forester, Silver.

5. KAX 695S Mitsubishi FH.

6. KAY 108U Toyota Premio Colona, Green.

7. KAG 288P Tractor.

8. KAT 165S Mitsubishi Pickup, White.

9. KAH 929F Tractor-New Holland (100-90), Blue.

10. KTCB 534J Tractor-New Holland (80-665).

11. KTCB 773S Tractor-New Holland (100-90).

12. KAJ 995P Isuzu Pickup, White.

12 M/VEHICLES suspected to be STOLEN or ILLEGALLY registered were Yesterday recovered by Flying Squad Detectives in an operation that was triggered by a tip-off from the Public. “Further investigations into the matter ongoing as Motor vehicles are kept as Exhibits “added the DCI.

The officers also recovered one number plate at the same location with the registration number KAM 810L.

The suspect was taken into custody awaiting further investigations.
