This is a political war, police cannot help me — Ndindi Nyoro

Kiharu Member of parliament Ndindi Nyoro has claimed that his troubles will not go way by recording statements with the police.

Speaking during a TV interview on Tuesday evening, the legislator claimed that his tribulations are politically fueled hence the police would not be of much help to him.

Nyoro accused Interior PS Karanja Kibicho of influencing the police to pursue him.

"I know the police boss (Kibicho) is after me. I don't think as far as recording statement is concerned, would help me fight a political war.

"I am 100% sure this happening because of my association with Ruto. PS Kibicho is punishing me for supporting Ruto. Uhuru is a well-meaning man but the people he appointed are playing politics," he stated.

The legislator's troubles started after he clashed with Nominated MP Maina Kamanda at a church during a fundraiser.

This comes as Kandara MP Alice Wahome claimed that there was a meeting held at an undisclosed location meant to strategize on how to eliminate the duo (Wahome and Nyoro).
