I am alive and well — Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok

Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok has dismissed claims that he suffered a stroke.

Through his official Twitter account, Nanok stated that he is in good health and members of the public should stop spreading malicious information about him.

“Ignore media misinformation,” he tweeted.

On Tuesday, word went round that the governor had been hospitalized after a mild stroke, claims he has strongly condemned.

The Council of Governors also rubbished those claims, terming them as fake news and maintained that Nanok is in good health.

“Let us ignore the FAKE NEWS about HE @GovernorNanok's health. H.E Josphat Nanok is well and is currently at his home having dinner with his family,” read a tweet on Tuesday evening.
