Some accused the Senator of being sarcastic especially since he tagged the DP in his tweet
According to an Executive Order issued by President Kenyatta Monday, Matiang’i will guide the team comprising all Cabinet Secretaries
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Tuesday congratulated President Uhuru Kenyatta for naming Interior CS Fred Matiang’i chairperson of the National Development Implementation and Communication Committee.
The committee is mandated to supervise the execution of government programmes including the Big Four Agenda and Kenyans could not help but speculate that Matiang’i’s position undermines that of DP William Ruto.
“Congratulations to President @UKenyatta for the Exec Order 1 of 2019 &to my friends CSs Dr.Matiangi & Rotich for the additional responsibilities. We look forward to a more coordinated service delivery&greater accountability to the people of Kenya.
“God bless you @WilliamsRuto,” wrote Murkomen.
Some accused the Senator of being sarcastic especially since he tagged the DP in his tweet while others were left guessing the direction this issue will take.
Dan Ondik: Now sit down and watch a government that works for the people settle down and deliver on what @UKenyatta planned all along....... Mr.president had a fabulous plan, what happened to that not easy to tell but 3yrs is still enough to press the reset button.
Robert Josochi: Can someone please educate me on why Murkomen is congratulating President Kenyatta? I thought it is CS Matiangi who is to be congratulated. Should i ask for refund from my former schools for misguiding me during the Basic English language lessons? Educate me please.
Kim: lol deep down you're disappointed or angry
Oyugi Weke: Sarcastic congratulatory message! Now you don't need a court order to explain that simpler.. Anyone planning to launch any development in Kenya must seek & report to Dr. Matiangi. Iwinjo... Understood?
According to an Executive Order issued by President Kenyatta Monday, Matiang’i will guide the team comprising all Cabinet Secretaries, Attorney General, Kihara Kariuki, and Head of Public Service, Joseph Kinyua.
