CCTV footage of a terrorist blowing up himself at dusitd2 has emerged.

In the video, a man can be seen standing outside a restaurant at the premise as two civilians walk past him.

There is relative calm for a minute or so before the man blows himself up. Shrapnel can be seen in the air and the nearby restaurant is immediately engulfed in smoke.

The explosion appears to have been very powerful since the terrorist is completely consumed and you can hardly see remains of his body.

It is at this point that people can be seen scampering for safety.

Separate videos showed four men approaching the complex via the main entrance where they fired a couple of shots.

The situation was however contained by security forces who expertly coordinated and killed all the terrorists, according to government reports.

As of Wednesday, the death toll had risen to 21 after six more bodies were found and a police officer succumbed to his injuries.

"We wish to inform that, as of this evening... six other bodies were found at the scene and one police officer succumbed very suddenly to his injuries," said Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet.

Further, he confirmed that two people had been arrested in relation to the attack and are aiding police in investigations.

"They are in police custody and we have a reason to believe that they facilitated the attack. They are assisting the police with investigations," stated the IG.
