A girl selected to join Precious Blood High School has no hopes of reporting to school due to lack of fees.
The dream of Clara Chepkirui could be shattered owing to the poor financial status of her family.
Clara attained 300 marks despite the challenges she faced as a student who comes from a very humble background.
A resident of Kaplelartet ward posted her picture on social media describing how the teenage girl has been crying by the roadside hoping help may come through in form of a good Samaritan could.
“As I was roaming at the village, I found a girl crying at the roadside. Clara Chepkirui comes from a humble background with a single mother. She did her K.C.P.E and passed exams well. Unfortunately, her Mother can't afford to take her to school,” wrote Johnstone Koech.
CS Amina announced that reporting dates for all Form Ones in all categories of schools is January 7, 2019, and not later than January 11, 2019.
