Robert Pires has identified the biggest difference between Arsene Wenger and current Arsenal boss Unai Emery

The Gunners legend played under Wenger during his most successful time at the club

Robert Pires has identified the biggest difference between Arsene Wenger and current Arsenal boss Unai Emery - the latter is a "little bit crazy".

The Gunners legend played under Wenger during his most successful time at the club in which he won the title after going an entire season unbeatean.

Wenger's latter years at Arsenal were less successful, and at the end of last season he stepped down after 22 years and handed over the reins to Emery.

The Spaniard has made a very encouraging start at Arsenal, who are currently on a 21-match unbeaten run and sit fifth in the Premier League.

Comparing the two, Pires told iNews:"I think he's put a good spirit inside the dressing room. I think Arsenal have found a new face, maybe with a new philosophy, because this guy is like a warrior.

"You can see him when he's on the bench: he's a little bit crazy, but good crazy.

"He wants to help, every minute, the players. You need to talk, you need to have good communication with the players. I think this is a new thing for them, but a good thing."

Arsenal are in action this Thursday in the Europa League, where they play host to Qarabag.

Emery is expected to make a number of changes given that that the Gunners are already through and Qarabag have been eliminated.
