But now more than ever, a trend of young campus man being baited by older women is growing. Here are a few reasons fuelling this development:
They are not demanding
They understand your schedule and appreciate that you are mature and busy. While they may occasionally flood your phone with texts, they understand that you will not be available, unlike older men who expect you to inform them about everything, down to your washroom schedule.
They have ‘arrived’
As opposed to settling for younger women that were passed up, they have ‘made it’ by bagging older women. As such, the dynamic is a lot between idolising their women and giving themselves silent fist bumps for a feat not easy to achieve.
They don’t have girlfriends or wives
Commitment is the last thing on their minds. They are looking for a quick scratch to their itch before they carry on with their uneventful lives that involve deciding what colour of earphones goes with their sweatshirts.
Also, it is highly unlikely that you will have to deal with a crazy girlfriend or wife threatening you to leave her man alone.
They know their position
The greatest catalyst of failed campus relationships is that people often overrate their importance and positions in each other’s life.
More often than not, a campus relationship is a contract - a plane that crashes before it leaves the airfield. Younger men understand that they are just another stop to the destination, a convenience.
They are young and devoted
Simple as that. Just like a younger woman fetches higher market value, so does a younger man. They make the perfect arm candy and will go above and beyond to prove that they deserve your attention and presence.
As such, the younger man is growing more popular as the days go by and the society is becoming increasingly permissive.
