Governor, deputy ditch their homes for hotel

A county chief together with his deputy have shocked voters after they decided to move away from their homes and put up at separate hotel near the county headquarters.

Residents complain that the first time Governor is hardly seen at his palatial home, which is less than 40 kilometres away from his office.

The case is with the man who serves as his principal assistant. All appointments after work are conducted at the two establishments which are a stone-throw away where the official reside.

It is whispered that one of the top county officials has interest in the hotels, and speculation is rife that taxpayers in the county maybe footing the bill.
