Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko threw social media into a frenzy when he compared the city to the fictional Wakanda country of Marvel’s latest release Black Panther. The Governor on Saturday, March posted a photoshopped image of leading characters Nakia, played by Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o and T'Challa with the caption Welcome to Nairobi City Lupita Nyong’o. This is the real Wakanda Kingdom.

Just wish you’d busy yourself with what I need: Water & thoroughly dealing with Storm Drainage.
Then, I’d feel a whole lot better about you tweeting photoshopped images.— GMan ???? ???????? (@gatmanuk1) March 17, 2018
