Moses Kuria evokes reactions after saying Raila's swearing-in has been cancelled

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria’s remarks after Embakasi East MP Babu Owino was freed on January 21 from Parklands Police Station have triggered emotions. Mr. Owino had been arrested on January 19 and spent two nights in the cells for alleged assault. He was released after Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja gave a personal surety to produce him at the Milimani Law Court on Monday at 8 am.

Mr.Owino was arrested on Friday afternoon outside Parliament Buildings after an alleged CCTV footage of him assaulting a parking attendant at an entertainment joint in Westlands, Nairobi, emerged on social media.
