- A car has been parked in Nairobi CBD along a busy month for several months
- No one including the hawk-eyed county employees who clamp cars whose owners have not paid for parking fees seem to notice it
Are there some people in this country simply untouchable? Or how do you explain a situation where someone parks a car along a busy street in Nairobi CBD for several months and nobody touches it?
Behind Kenyatta Avenue next to Post bank off Muindi Bingu Street, a mystery Volvo has been occupying a prime parking slot for close to a year. No one including the hawk-eyed county employees who clamp cars whose owners have not paid for parking fees seem to notice it.
Surprisingly even street boys who have no qualms pinching car parts have spared the Swedish machine. [Volvo is now a Chinese company]. Over to you Governor Mike Sonko.
