[PHOTOS] Mixed reactions as Kenyans speculate on mysterious deaths in Kariobangi

There was tension and speculation for a better part of the morning on November 19 after a number of people were killed under unknown circumstances in Kariobangi Ruaraka area. The number of those killed was yet to be confirmed with various reports giving differing statements. Nairobi Police Commander Japhet Koome said four bodies were found dumped near a bridge between Kariobangi and Alsopps. Residents said that among the four, three had gunshot wounds on the head while one had been shot in the chest. Debates on what could have caused the deaths contradicted with people claiming that specific tribes were being targeted. Others came out to say that the four had been victims of a thug who shot them in an attempt to escape. The speculations led to Kenyans tweeting, with three major hashtags emerging. Koome assured Kenyans that investigations were ongoing and that the killings were not ethnically motivated. Here is what Kenyans had to ay following the mysterious deaths. War in Mathare, Kenya.
