  • Ekuru Aukot who ran for Presidency twice this year and lost got Kenyans on Twitter talking.
  • Kenyans accused him of being a government puppet despite his claims that he is the Opposition.

Thirdaway Alliance Party leader Ekuru Aukot on Sunday, 12 November got Kenyans on Twitter talking.

Ekuru ran for Presidency twice this year and lost before announcing that he was the Opposition that Kenya has.

Kenyans remember his drastic change of mind after he took part in the October 26 repeat poll despite earlier accusations to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision (IEBC).

He posted on his account saying that his party is back in court and that mosquitoes still bite elephants.

We are back in court and they are ALL quivering .As @Thirdwaykenya we know where we are headed .Mosquitoes will still bite the elephants— #OneNation (@EAukot) November 12, 2017

His tweet came after his meeting with Senior Counsel and Chairperson of Al-Nur Media Africa and his legal advisor Ellis Mutimba on November 10.

Tweeps made a field out of his remarks with many accusing him of being a puppet of the Government. Others just seized the opportunity and called him a slay king and a socialite.

Dr. Ekuru Aukot has been my friend for long .. below is how we greeted each other when he returned from Liberia at the height of Ebola crisis ... Though we are still BFFs, I no longer know what he wants in politics .. pic.twitter.com/LlIilHmNKl— Donald B Kipkorir (@DonaldBKipkorir) November 12, 2017

Ekuru Aukot proclaimed himself the official opposition leader and instead of planning to challenge the govt he's opposing the opposition.— Fetty Waf (@Wafunya) November 3, 2017

Your guy "Ekuru Aukot" late behaviour is only Comparable to Socialites. He will soon Land the Suitor. Good Luck to him on his Search. The problem with the Kenyan Constitution is that pseudo intellectuals like Ekuru Aukot copy pasted the U.S.A Constitution without accounting for Geopolitical, cultural, social & economic differences— Sahara Princess???????????????? (@saharex) November 12, 2017

Nothing is more nauseating in Kenyan than the sight of Dr. Ekuru Aukot. He has pawned the whole Thirdway Alliance and sold his soul. Not even the world’s best political doctors can suture together the political wounds he has self inflicted.— A Karani Onsomu (@erwoti) November 12, 2017

All Ekuru Aukot wants is to be in the media regardless of the impact of what he says!Such socialites should never be allowed any chance of leadership lest we perish all! #JudiciaryUnderSiege— Amakanji Thomas (@AmakanjiThomas) November 12, 2017
