PHOTOS: Man arrested for locking himself in a lodging for two days

Drama erupted at Road Block estate in Eldoret yesterday when police officers stormed a guest house and arrest an occupant after he failed to open the door for two days.

The 40-year-old man is said to have booked the room on Monday evening and paid Sh 400 for the night, but since he failed to check off on Tuesday and Wednesday, the employees were worried of his life after knocking for several time, prompting the owner to call the police.

When questioned, he explained that he wondered why people disturbing his peace. The police said he will be handed over to the Anti-terror before taking him to the hospital for mental checkup.
