Why Raila decision to stay in politics worries allies

A revelation by Raila Odinga that he will only quit politics once Jubilee is sent packing, has sent shock-waves among some opposition leaders.

On Monday night, a day after the opposition Chief made the declaration in Kawangware, some NASA MPS from Western Kenya were heard deliberating at a city hotel what the announcement meant for their region.

The legislators reached a consensus that if their coalition boss was serious about running again in 2022, then his fellow principals would have to shop for another political vehicle or worse their competitors.

This they said would offer one of them a realistic chance to ascend to the house in the hill, instead of waiting in line for yet another 15 years.
