Pressure forces senior IEBC official’s wife to quit church

A wife to a senior Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission (IEBC) official has stopped attending church services following social media attacks over her husband’s alleged involvement in bungling August 8 presidential election.

The spouse was forced to quit church WhatsApp groups after members kept making claims how the husband interfere with the polls. They told the woman to tell the poll official to quit so as to spare the country another compromised poll.

Grapevine learnt that the unending claims and accusations forced her to quit the groups. She also stopped attending the church which is located in Nairobi’s Lavington.
