Drunk MP narrowly misses a beating for insulting golfers

A first term MP from Rift Valley was scared stiff as fellow golfers wanted to beat him up for using unsavory language against them during an event at an Eldoret club.

The legislator, popular for dishing handouts to his supporters, is said to have turned up for the event drunk and started hurling insults to all and sundry to the chagrin of the members.

The (dis)honorable member had to plead with the charged members to spare him after it became apparent they were determined to discipline him.

The legislator is popular among the locals because of his generosity as he is known to treat his supporters anytime he lands in his constituency.
