Nine-year-old girl cheats death after kidnappers rip out her intestines

This is the stuff of horror movies: A nine year old girl is fighting for dear life in a Nakuru hospital after she was kidnapped and viciously knifed.

Faith Nduta is a class three student from Pyrethrum Estate, Bondeni area in Nakuru town.

Like any other girl her age in Kenya, at this time of the year she would be preparing to do her end-of-year exams ahead of the long holiday.

According to Facebook post by Ndungu Nyoro, on Sunday morning 17 September 2017, was basking in the sun outside their house.

Her mother Esther, who sells cakes in Nakuru town, went about her chores in the house knowing her daughter was safe outside.

“While seated on a stone two men and a woman walked towards Nduta, grabbed and dragged her towards a vehicle that was parked nearby as they covered her mouth.

She was blindfolded, forced to ingest something and became unconscious as they sped off.

Then the kidnappers did the unthinkable: With knives, they made three deep cuts in her abdomen spilling out the intestines. She was left for dead at the Ndarugu area of Beautiful Ward. By the Grace of God she survived the ordeal,” reads part of the post.

Nduta, whose intestines had been severely damaged and slashed, was rescued by some well-wishers who took her to Mediheal Hospital in Nakuru where she was immediately put on treatment, goes the post.

No one can imagine the pain that little girl went through; to say that she was hurt, is an understatement,"reads the Facebook account.

"I can’t even begin to imagine the pain Nduta’s mother is going through. To see her daughter suffer that much is something no mother should ever go through," he goes on.

Nduta battled for her life at the ICU from 17th to 24th September and is currently at the general ward recovering.

No one understands the motive of the kidnappers or the reason for their brutality.

Nduta’s bill has escalated to Sh600,000 and still growing.

Now, her poor parentsare reaching out to the online family for a helping hand.
