On Wednesday 13 September, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and his Deputy Francis Maliti were shut down by NASA supporters in Tala, Machakos County in his bid to campaign for Uhuru's re-election in the October 17 elections.

This is after President Uhuru Kenyatta meet with Ukambani delegates on Monday 11 September to thank them for their support on the August poll.

During his campaign trail in Tala, everything was going on well until he was shut down by a hostile crowd at the town centre who kept shouting 'NASA! NASA!.

The NASA supporters shouted even more especially after the Machakos Governor urged them to shut even more.
