Hassan Omar reveals six reasons why he won’t back Raila Odinga

Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has pulled out of the National Super Alliance and vowed not to support Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka in the October 17 polls.

Omar accused the two of being ethnic chiefs, saying that they are not sincere and that chaos is equal to a Raila presidency with Hassan Joho as Mombasa Governor.

Omar promised to announce his next political move to his supporters soon, assuring that he now has the courage to stand alone after spending a long time trying to please the NASA leaders.

He also accused Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka of rigging the August 8th election in Joho’s favour, a victory which he intends to challenge in court.

However, Mombasa Governor Joho has dismissed Omar’s claims, insisting that he is blaming everyone but himself for his loss.

Here are the reasons why Hassan Omar ditched NASA:

  • He claims that he spent too much time trying to please Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka and now has the courage to stand alone.
  • He says he felt unwanted in the National Super Alliance, blaming the two heads for his loss to Hassan Joho in the August 8th poll.
  • He accuses Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka of supporting Joho’s bid for another term and rigging the August 8th election in his favour.
  • He also accused the NASA flag bearer of promoting the notion that he was a Jubilee Party mole in NASA.
  • He also said that Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka never helped him when he was attacked by their Hassan Joho supporters.
  • He bashed Kalonzo, saying that the Wiper Party leader lacked the focus to make decisions.
