NASA reveals who they are going to hire as their agents during the repeat elections

The National Super Alliance got the chance to compete for the presidency again after the Supreme Court nullified the results of the August 8th elections, saying that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission never conducted the elections according to the guidelines in the Constitution.

The alliance declared that they will solely depend on volunteers as agents on October 17th, saying that some of the agents they had on August 8th impaired the coalition.

Raila Odinga, while leading a meeting attended by NASA affiliates, demanded to know how some of the agents were hired last time, Campaigns Executive Officer Willis Otieno having some explaining to do.

Some leaders claimed that some agents were only interested in the money but not the Coalition's best interests at heart.

The financial burden of the coalition in terms of distribution of money for campaigns and elections would be eased if volunteers were used as agents.

"We found out that some of our agents in the August polls were only out to make money, even from our opponents, and did not deliver on their mandate. They could not produce copies of Form 34A when asked to do so. This means they were not serious about their work or were bought by our opponents," said one official.

Leaders present at the meeting also inquired about ITAC - Information Technology Advisory Committee that was responsible for ensuring that result transmission was simple and accurate.

Godfrey Otosti, the Amani National Congress Sec- Gen also said that the IEBC voter register still has dead voters, going up to over two million.
