William Kabogo concedes defeat

William Kabogo who was running for Kiambu County governorship has conceded defeat and congratulated his competitor Hon. Ferdinand Waititu. Kabogo says he has no regrets and that doing the campaigns was one thing and running for government was another.

Hon. Kabogo who has so far managed to garner 195,315 votes against his immediate competitor Hon. Waititu 728,220 votes, says he wishes to thank the people of Kiambu for the opportunity to serve them in his first term.

Kabogo has also thanked his campaign team for "their tireless efforts in the last several months " and says that it is time to move on. 

"My life hasn't stopped. My original life goes on" he said.

Kenyans have commended him for bravely accepting defeat and have urged other Politicians to do the same.
