Governor aspirant's headache over disloyal running mate

As the election comes to a close, it seems the political theatrics are far from over.

Now we are learning that an aspiring governor has lost his running mate who is now following a rival.

This has created quite some confusion because the candidate has no time to look for a loyal deputy and at the same time consolidate his votes.

There is also confusion as to what would happen if the candidate wins.

Would the governor be forced by law to embrace the disloyal running mate or would he be accorded an opportunity to replace the rebel.

The jury is still out.
