Mourinho – Neymar transfer is not expensive, but will have consequences

  • Jose Mourinho has warned of the consequences Neymar's transfer would have on other clubs during transfer windows.
  • Neymar has agreed a move to French giantS PSG after playing four seasons at Barcelona.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho does not believe that Neymar’s transfer to French powerhouses Paris St. Germain is expensive, but says that the consequences will create complications for the Spanish side.

Just off a 2-1 win over Sampdoria and the praising of new signing Nemanja Matic’s qualities, Jose Mourinho said that from now on, more players will be offered at ridiculous prices, with Paul Pogba losing the ‘world’s most expensive player’ crown to the Brazilian.

Lionel Messi bid Neymar farewell on his Instagram, uploading a video the best moments he had with the 198 million euro - rated attacker.

Neymar played four seasons with Barcelona, scoring 105 goals and providing 41 assists.

He has scored a total of 7 goals against Paris St. Germain, usually in the Champions League, maybe the reason why the French side desired his services so much.

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp, who might be under pressure to sell Phillipe Coutinho, thinks that Neymar’s transfer goes beyond Financial Fair Play rules and that it should not have been allowed.

Meanwhile, Barcelona has returned to training.
