Setback for Miguna Miguna as running mate steps down

Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has suffered a major blow after his running mate Karen Wangenye stepped down, just nine days to the election.

Wangenye cited ‘poor working relationship’ as the reason why she stepped down, leaving the candidate with no running mate.

“Let it be known that I have nothing against the Miguna and I wish him well. All I’m saying is that we are not compatible and I am not in a position to work with his methods of addressing issues,” stated Wangenye.
