Barcelona identify Neymar replacement – Brazilian has 10% chance of staying

Following reports of frustration for playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi, it has been reported that Brazilian star Neymar could leave the club this summer, with a move to French giants Paris St. Germain on the cards.

According to Spanish newspapers, a fee of around 182 million pounds – a world record transfer fee would enable PSG to purchase Neymar’s services.


The 25-year-old, who has risen to become Brazil’s most valuable footballers, could be replaced by fellow country man Phillipe Coutinho, if Barcelona manage to convince Liverpool to sell.

Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool boss however has refuted claims of a possible move for the Brazilian, insisting the he is “100% not for sale”


Barcelona, under new coach Ernesto Valverde offered 72 million pounds to Liverpool earlier in the transfer window, a bid which was rejected by the Merseyside club.


Countinho made 35 appearances for Liverpool last season, scoring 13 and assisting 11. His style of play has attracted interested from top European clubs, with Barcelona and Real Madrid among the favorites to reach the star’s buyout clause.
