Nothing defines ‘Strength of a Woman’ better than Rachel Shebesh.

Being hospitalised, and with elections round the corner, she yesterday left her hospital bed in Nairobi Women’s Hospital and went straight to Kasarani Stadium to present her papers to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

Shebesh, who is contesting for the Nairobi Woman Representative seat, was seen on a wheelchair, and as usual, donning red- Jubilee party colours. Her competitor, ODM’s Esther Passaris had earlier visited her in hospital, showing that their rivalry is only limited to politics.

The Nairobi Woman Representative has been recuperating from an injured leg and her untiring spirits were rewarded after she was finally cleared by the IEBC to vie/contest in the August 8^th polls.

She also received her certificate in the process.

Rachel Shebesh has clearly shown that she is not about to give up on the Women Rep race, with Esther Passsaris (ODM) another favourite to clinch the seat.
