President Uhuru reveals why he will win in the forthcoming General Election

President Uhuru Kenyatta has hinted that he is sure that he will be elected for a second term as the president of Kenya in the forthcoming August 8th polls.

Addressing a political rally in Nyamira town on Tuesday President Uhuru said that with his development record he is very sure that Kenyans will give him a second term so that he can finish some of the new development projects he has started on.

He further said that he is better placed to win in August polls because Kenyans trusted him when he had no powerful position and gave him votes that made him the fourth president of Kenya.

The president wondered how Raila and Kalonzo will make it when they failed to ascend to power when they were in top leadership positions before the 2013 General Election.

According to him, the two failed to prove to Kenyans that they can take this nation to greater heights when they had the powers to do so.

He added that they achieved very little in terms of development when they had the opportunity.

“Raila has been the the Prime Minister of this country while Kalonzo was the vice president what did they do for Kenyans?” asked Uhuru.

He added that in the last General Election the Gusii’s didn’t vote for him and now that they have agreed to walk with him he is pretty sure that, that will be a major boost for him.

Additionally, the president said that the Jubilee Government's objective is to see Kenya transformed and make every Kenyan citizen proud of their country and called on the residents to shun leaders who propagate lies and divisive politics.

He also said that as the Government they are committed to serving all Kenyans irrespective of their political, religious or tribal affiliation.

Lastly, he said that his Government has invested Sh3.1 billion in the road project in Nyamira county which will be completed in December.
