How to get those perfectly shaped eyebrows

There is nothing that frames the face so beautifully like perfectly arched eyebrows. Defined brows instantly gives you a more polished and classy look.

Most people force their eyebrows into specific shapes without taking into consideration their natural face shape.

What is worse is that some don’t realise it until they leave their houses and get stares allover.

Here are some tips on how to get those perfectly shaped eyebrows.

1. Select the perfect time to tweeze

Tweezing when the skin is dry is not only painful but also leads to swelling and redness of the skin.

Post-tweezing redness can be avoided by selecting the perfect time to tweeze. I would advise plucking after a shower to soften the skin and enable you to pull out the hair with much ease.

If you do have redness use a cooling gel for immediate soothing. Avoid adding makeup to the area, which could cause clogged hair follicles.

2. Trim the brows
You will need a small scissor and a spoolie or a mascara wand minus mascara. Use this to trim the brow hair.

The hair in the tail should be longer than the ones in the head in order to form an arch.

3. Shape the brows

Shaping the eyebrows using tweezers only can be a hell of work. Eyebrow pencil is just what you need at this time!

Use this to draw a distinct shape of how you want your eyebrow to look like, Whether rounded or straight, taking into account the natural curve of your brow and then use the tweezers to pluck the hairs above and below the structure.

4.Brushing the brows

Brushing the brows is a must do no matter how you want your brows to appear. It is necessary as it gives you a more groomed look.

Always go for a good brush with soft pointed tips that do not irritate the skin or remove the product.

Start at the root of the Brow hair and pulling to the direction of the hair growth. The double ended bamboo brow brush is perfect!

5.Shading the eyebrows

Filling in the eyebrows is necessary unless you have very thick eyebrows. You can use eye pencil or eyeshadow according to your preference.

Always use a color that is two or three shades lighter than your hair. If you have blond or light colored hair, use light brown or medium brown pencil.

For brown hair or medium colored hair, use a medium or dark brown color. Black hair goes well with dark brown, never use black!

For redheads a color close to your hair or three shades, darker is perfect. For other colors use a shade that matches your hair color and going to three or two shades darker.

In any case, you find that you have applied too much product, you can gently press a clean tissue on the brow to soften the color.
