2017: the political allignment challenge

With the 2017 General Election around the corner politicians are pushing their best efforts forward in the struggle for political positions.

In Kenya, it has been a tradition that once in power, one must ensure that he retains the seat for the second term.

Having put that into reckoning, political analysts believe that the opposition leader, Raila Odinga, after having undergone a tough series of losing to clinch the presidency, has got only one bullet left in his gun. And this is the only preferable moment to use it.

This means that tough decisions need to be made, not just by Mr. Odinga, but also the entire electorate.

The way the politicians will want to gain majority of the votes will depend on a number of factors, including the electorates' way of thinking toward them. Once they have taken control of the electorates' psychology, they can then come up with these teams of ''loophole controllers''

This idea will be crucial keeping in mind that the previous elections to some of the politicians alleged that there was a lot of irregularities that is why they lost to their opponents.

The president, on the other hand, has little to worry about since he has all the possible machinery which he can opt to use positively or negatively. Government resources are under his care.
